Top 10 of what I’m thankful for on my big day:
10. I love the fact that every thing, big or small, meant to harm me is turned around for my benefit by God. (This should probably be closer to #1, but I am writing this backwards and I have big plans for that little number)
9. Now that I’m thinking about it, I’m pretty stoked that God loves me (Seriously, these are not going to be all cheesy and about God, but He is kind of a big deal. btw they might all be cheesy)
8. I’m really glad that leggings and comfy boots are in style right now, I pretty much wear them every.single.day.
7. Last year I had the pleasure of meeting with a fun group of girls every month to talk about everything pertaining to women, mommyhood, food, decor, entertainment and a really great book. I love these girls and will never forget those fun times.
6. Funny movies, people, music, art, photos… anything humorous because I LOVE TO LAUGH, all the time, especially when i’m sad.
5. Pastor Bill & Sandy Scheer of Guts Church are possibly the greatest leaders that I personally know. I probably don’t fully realize all the effects they have had on my life or how much they have impacted my future, but I know that I’m grateful for them and all the leadership of Guts Church.
4. I have friends who love me even when I’m not so lovable. What’s not to love about that?
3. ” You know those families where everyone’s out of their mind but they’re family so you love them? Mine’s not like that.” (Kat Ellis in The Wedding Date) Pretty much sums up allllll the people in my great big family that spans this nation from Cali to Texas and Michigan even all the way to Florida. Love them!
2. The most precious girl I’ve ever laid eyes on, who makes me smile, laugh, frown and pretty much cry everyday. She has totally and completely rocked that last 14 months of my life. I’m still in awe of the fact that I get to be her mom and I probably always will be. She is my favorite gift ever.
1.I met my handsome guy 5 years and 6 months ago in a warehouse posing as a church, in a room filled with 1st thru 5th grade kids. They put me on his team and he didn’t say more than two words to me all night. I knew that day that I wanted to get to know him better, but he still didn’t say more than two words to me for a month. Then he finally busted out with, “Do you want to have coffee or dinner sometime?” . I didn’t even realize he was asking me out on our first date, but I still said “yes” a year later, when he proposed. He makes me laugh about 50 times, every day. He’s predictable and opinionated and I absolutely wouldn’t want to face any of life’s challenges without his courageous heart. I ♥ my Handsome Huntsinger.
