Yesterday, Saturday, March 20, 2010 it snowed in Tulsa, OK. Blah, Blah, Blah!!! I’m so over winter weather.
But, this Huntsinger family made the most of it! I did a little baking for my Handsome husband. Cherry Pie is his favorite so I whipped this up for him.
It’s not homemade and it’s note pretty, but he says it’s yummy and that is all that matters.
Then he made this crockpot Chicken Santa Fe dish,
and I made this creamed spinach to go with it
If your thinking these two dishes are an odd combination, you are right. They totally and completely don’t go together, but I REALLY wanted spinach and he wanted to try out his Santa Fe Chicken. So we compromised and made them both. That’s how you spell marriage right? C-O-M-P-R-O-M-I-S-E
I guess making the Chicken was hard work, cause this is what I found when everything was ready for dinner.
